Information Technology Critical System Analyst Team
We are responsible for the preservation and support for core applications, hardware and networks across the district. This includes supporting all staff and students who are accessing the AMDSB network for student learning software, student information systems, purchasing, accounting, human resources, payroll, data warehouse and email collaboration software. Information Technology Training Team
The System Training Team supports the District technology initiatives such as G Suite, mVal, eBase. We support school Library Learning Commons through centralized cataloguing as well as on-site technical support. Our AMDSB Media Centre provides classroom resources from its collection for all subjects and grade levels.
The School Training Team provides an extensive range of software and application support to teachers and staff members at every grade level. We provide group training sessions in our lab at the Learning Resource Centre in Clinton as well as one-on-one training and support at schools and work-sites. Our team is able to provide training sessions at staff meetings or to small groups of staff members interested in learning a new technology or application. In cooperation with classroom teachers we can provide support to students in a classroom or lab setting. We often provide support over the phone or by e-mail (through the eBase system). Technology can be daunting and, whether it’s providing advice on the best app or a step-by-step how-to, we tailor our support to the needs of our clients.
